A distinguished lecture entitled “Established, Emerging and Non-Conventional 2d Materials, Devices and Technology” was delivered on 3rd January 2018, by Prof. Deji Akinwande, Endowed associate professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Texas - Austin, USA. The lecture was organized by IEEE ED/SSCS Bangalore Chapter in collaboration with Lam Research and CeNSE, IISc.

On 4th January 2018, an exclusive session with Lam Research India was executed, wherein Prof. Deji Akinwande presented the topic “Si and graphene/2D Heterogeneous Nanotechnology”, along with Prof. Durga Misra who presented the topic “Trends in Gate Dielectric Scaling, Processing and Reliability Issues”. Followed by an executive meeting with Mr. Krishnan Srinivasan (Jinny), Managing Director – Lam Research India and team.
