Over the years capacity building in the area of Micro and Nano fabrication and characterization has gained momentum. Focus programs from government agencies has created critical capacity that is enabling cutting-edge research and technology development in the country. The symposium aims to bring together expertise in the operations and management of cleanroom and characterization facilities across educational institutions, strategic sector labs and industrial facilities. The symposium endeavours to be a platform to discuss best practices, maintenance protocols, workforce development, facility management, and resolving issues in running these specialized facilities. Unlike any other event, this symposium would focus on gathering and sharing experience and expertise in managing user facility. Furthermore, through the symposium, we shall also address efficient cost management, vendor management, annual maintenance and spare management among the facilities.
