Theory @ Ravishing Retreat

Three residential days of lectures and scientific discussions in the green surroundings of Ramanagara - with time for informal interaction, nature walks, sports, and conversations beyond the classroom.

STUDY IN THE LANDSCAPE OF SHOLAY Ravishing Retreat sits in Ramanagara's spectacular granite-hill country, close to Ramadevara Betta - the rugged landscape that became the fictional Ramgarh in the 1975 classic Sholay. Iconic sequences, including Gabbar Singh's hilltop hideout, were filmed among these rocks. The area is also known for trekking, panoramic views, and its vulture sanctuary - a memorable setting for three days of science away from the city.
