Strengthening Academia- Defence Synergy: Indian Navy Delegation Visits CeNSE
We were privileged to host a high-level delegation from the Indian Navy. The delegation toured the state-of-the-art National Nano Fabrication Facility (NNfC) and engaged in focused discussions with our faculty along with projects office staff.
The visit was centred on exploring strategic collaboration for the development of advanced sensors and MEMS-based technologies for mission-critical naval applications.
The interactions underscored the importance of strengthening indigenous capabilities in microfabrication, sensing technologies, and system integration to support national defence priorities.
Such engagements reinforce the growing synergy between academia and the armed forces- accelerating the translation of deep-tech research into deployable, reliable, and scalable solutions for the nation.

Dr. Shubhangi Bhardwaj , from the CeNSE, has been featured in Lam Research's 25*25 Series, highlighting the impact of the Semiverse® Solutions Program in advancing semiconductor education and research.
The Semiverse® Solutions Program is empowering students, researchers, and faculty with industry-relevant simulation tools, enabling hands-on learning and strengthening semiconductor talent development across academic institutions.
We are proud of this collaboration with Lam Research, which continues to bridge academia and industry by equipping the next generation of semiconductor professionals with cutting-edge learning opportunities.

Celebrating CeNSE's Success at Bengaluru INDIA NANO 2026
CeNSE was proud to participate in Bengaluru INDIA NANO 2026, one of India's premier nanotechnology and deep-tech events, bringing together researchers, industry leaders, startups, and policymakers to showcase innovations shaping the future.
CeNSE also received the Best Exhibitor Award (Content & Information), recognising our efforts in presenting cutting-edge research and innovation to the wider community.
Adding to the celebrations, Dr. Laxman Gouda received the Best Startup Award at the NanoSparkX event, highlighting the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit fostered at CeNSE.
Throughout the event, CeNSE faculty contributed to the technical programme with talks spanning advanced semiconductor packaging, MEMS technologies, semiconductor fundamentals, neuromorphic computing for artificial intelligence, and industry-academia collaborations driving the translation of nanotechnology research from lab to market.
