Arun is a Ph.D. candidate at CeNSE, IISc and is working in the field of semiconductor device physics. His bachelor’s degree was in ECE and thesis (major) was on embedded systems. He was awarded state ‘Silver Medal’ for the academic year 2011-12. He then appeared for national entrance examination GATE and had scored 99.98 percenitile and got admit for M.Tech. programme at IIT-Patna. He was awarded DAAD scholrship-2014 and got an opprtunity to carry out his M.tech thesis work at TU-Darmstadt, Germany. He was awarded institute ‘Silver Medal’ at IIT Patna. Currently he is in his 4th year of Ph.D. and currently working towards fabrication of ‘Interdigitated back-Contacted Solar Cells’.
