Prof. Rudra Pratap's Research Group
Cutting edge research today requires diverse set of skills for solving complex problems or unravelling scientific mysteries that advance our knowledge. Bringing together the required set of skills often necessitates collaboration. We are no exception. We collaborate with other research groups within our centre, within IISc, and outside nationally and internationally. Within the Centre, we actively collaborate with Prof. Srinivasan Raghavan (Vasu) and Prof. Shivashankar on materials related work, with Profs. Navakant Bhat, Prasenjit Sen and Akshay Naik on device related work, and Prof. Manoj Varma and Shankar Selvaraja on photonics related work. We have on-going collaboration with Prof. Praveen Kumar from Materials Engineering on electromigration, with Prof. Rohini Balakrishnan from CES on bioacoustics, with Profs. Upendra Nangthomba ad Annapurni Rangarajan on mechano-diagnostics of cells. Internationally, we have collaborated with colleagues from the University of Western Australia on optical MEMS, with research groups at Cornell University on MEMS and NEMS resonators, with a research group at EPFL, Switzerland, and are currently in the process of setting up collaborations with colleagues in Russia, Brazil, France, and Germany.
