There are two modes of entry:
This group is intended for students from reserved categories who are currently enrolled in BS, B.Tech, M.Tech, MS, MSc, MS by Research, or similar degree programs at various institutions and are interested in completing their final-year thesis at CeNSE.
This group includes reserved category students who have completed their degrees and are engaged in this program as full-time employees, seeking an opportunity to gain hands-on research experience.
The Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE) was established in 2010 to pursue interdisciplinary research in the domain of NanoScience. Topics of interest include, but not limited to materials, electronics, MEMS/NEMS, photonics, Solar Cells, Neuromorphic computing, 2D Materials and TEM. If you have an exciting and revolutionary idea, come talk to us. We welcome both academic and industry collaborations.
CeNSE houses a state-of-the art national nanofabrication centre (NNfC) with 14000 square feet of class 100/1000 clean room. It also houses a comprehensive micro nano characterization facility (MNCF) to conduct virtually any type of electrical, optical, mechanical and material characterization. Both of these are national user facilities are accessible to outside researchers for very reasonable charges.
