PRISM Silicon Photonics Hands-on Design Workshop (5-8 Feb 2024)

Course Code:
SiPh hands-on
Course Credit:
NA
Instructor(s):
Shankar Kumar Selvaraja and CADFEM application expert
The workshop is offline on-site at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, between 5-8 February 2024. The hands-on silicon photonics design workshop is based on the Ansys Lumuerical EDA platform. The workshop will be a combination of theory and design. The participants will get an insight into the fabrication and characterisation constraints as well. As a participant, you will be taken through the full product cycle from design idea to characterised chip.

Full registration will have an opportunity to get their design fabricated at the National Nano fabrication Center (NNfC) and characterised in the Photonics Research Lab, at the Center for Nano Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Background requirement: Basic electromagnetics and Optics.

Registration Fee
  • Full registration cost for Industry professions/University faculty = 25,000.00+18% GST

  • Startups = 17,500.00+18% GST

  • Univerity students = 12,500.00+ 18% GST

 The registration cost includes training material and catering.
