Abstract:

In this talk, I will cover the exciting world of chip-scale light propagation and control. 
The control enables useful application in communication, computing and sensing. 
The presentation will cover based concept and some state-of-the-art demonstrations from our lab. 

Biography:

Professor Shankar Kumar Selvaraja is Associate Chair at the CeNSE, IISc Bangalore, 
and Project Director of the Quantum Computing Thematic Hub under India’s National Quantum Mission. 
Before IISc, he worked at imec Belgium on wafer‑scale silicon photonic for optical interconnect 
applications. He is an alumnus of University of Twente the Netherlands, College of Engineering, 
Gundy, Anna University and Bharathiar University. He has over 300 publications, more than a dozen patents. 
His research area includes photonic IC technology for compute, communication and sensing application.
